Client:

Lou.pl is a fast-growing Polish fashion brand for women, known for its elegant dresses and a loyal customer base. By 2025, its original eCommerce platform no longer reflected the brand’s premium identity, visually or functionally. The interface felt outdated, the structure wasn’t scalable, and the overall experience lacked the sophistication that defined Lou’s products.

At the same time, Lou.pl was expanding its collections, raising its product quality, and reaching a broader audience. The digital experience needed to catch up – not just to support this growth, but to reflect the brand’s elevated positioning and the expectations of modern, fashion-savvy customers.

Project goal

The main goal was to redesign Lou.pl’s entire eCommerce experience — visually, functionally, and strategically, to reflect the true quality of the brand and its products. The existing platform felt outdated, inconsistent with the brand’s premium image,

and failed to support a modern customer journey.

Beyond aesthetics, the redesign aimed to rebuild the purchase flow from the ground up. The previous checkout path was confusing, misaligned with user expectations, and hurt conversion. My goal was to deliver a coherent, elegant, and intuitive experience that supports Lou’s brand identity and meets the expectations of today’s fashion-forward customers.

A comprehensive design journey for a growing fashion brand

The collaboration with Lou.pl spanned several months and involved a complete UX/UI redesign for both desktop and mobile platforms.

Alongside the new experience, I developed a tailored design system to unify the brand’s visual language and coordinated the implementation phase with Lou’s internal team to ensure a smooth and consistent launch.

02. Design System / Foundation

A comprehensive design journey for a growing fashion brand

To accelerate the redesign and ensure consistency across platforms, I built a modular design system from scratch — including all core UI components and state variants. It was designed to simplify collaboration, reduce duplication, and support faster iteration across teams.

The system allowed us to maintain clarity and brand alignment while scaling the project for both desktop and mobile experiences.

02. Design System / Colors

A muted palette crafted

for elegance and clarity

The color system was built around natural, desaturated tones that echo the premium and feminine aesthetic of the Lou brand. Beige, sand, gray, and warm neutrals were chosen to create a soft yet confident tone, ensuring the interface feels elevated, approachable, and in tune with the product line.

This restrained color direction provided clarity across UI components, while reinforcing the brand’s minimal sophistication and focus on detail.

03. UX/UI Desktop / Introduction

A homepage that captures

brand essence and drives discovery

Before redesigning the homepage, I needed to understand what wasn’t working. The original site struggled to reflect the brand’s elevated identity — both visually and structurally.
